Frequently Asked Questions

  • Fill out the form and I will reach out to discuss scheduling and to determine if I am the right match for you.

  • Like most psychologists, I am an out-of-network provider. There are several benefits to seeing an out-of-network psychologist.

  • Using out-of-network benefits does not have to be complicated. I partner with Mentaya, a service that helps simplify the reimbursement process by submitting out-of-network insurance claims on your behalf. Mentaya works directly with your insurance company so you can receive reimbursement without managing the paperwork yourself.

This optional service is available through the practice. Mentaya charges a small processing fee or percentage for each claim submitted.

If you choose to use your out-of-network benefits, you would pay the full session fee at the time of service. The practice would then send your information to Mentaya, which would submit the claim to your insurance company. Your insurance provider would reimburse you directly based on your out-of-network coverage.

If any issues arise with a claim, Mentaya will work with your insurance company to help resolve them for you.

If you prefer to submit claims directly to your insurance company yourself we are happy to provide you with a Superbill receipt.

  • There is an intake session that typically lasts 1-2 hours to gather necessary information about your concerns. This is followed by testing session(s) which typically lasts 2-3 hours that assess the client’s cognitive, executive functioning, and attention abilities. After this Dr. Dennis will provide a detailed write-up that includes diagnoses (if applicable), accommodations (if applicable) treatment recommendations, and tools for school/work/life. After the report is written, there will be a feedback session where Dr. Dennis will walk you through the results.
